Narrative During Books Beautiful Stranger (Beautiful Bastard #2)

Escaping a cheating ex, finance whiz Sara Dillon’s moved to New York City and is looking for excitement and passion without a lot of strings attached. So meeting the irresistible, sexy Brit at a dance club should have meant nothing more than a night’s fun. But the manner—and speed—with which he melts her inhibitions turns him from a one-time hookup and into her Beautiful Stranger. The whole city knows that Max Stella loves women, not that he’s ever found one he particularly wants to keep around. Despite pulling in plenty with his Wall Street bad boy charm, it’s not until Sara—and the wild photos she lets him take of her—that he starts wondering if there’s someone for him outside of the bedroom. Hooking up in places where anybody could catch them, the only thing scarier for Sara than getting caught in public is having Max get too close in private.

I think I might've liked this one better than BB. I don't know...I really loved Sara and Max. But I loved Chloe and Bennett too. Fine, I can't decide. I love them all equally. :)

Uff. I'm just not really sure what to say. I did enjoy this book more than Beautiful Bastard, but still feel I can't give this more than 3 STARS, which means BB probably should have been a 2 STAR for me instead of the 3 I've given it. These books are entertaining, and I really did love Max and Stella's relationship and interactions much more than Chloe and Bennett's, but there is something about this series that feels very forgettable to me. Maybe I've read too many books, or maybe it's just a

3.5 starsDefy Me comes out in 5 days and I told myself I'd pick up a quick, light book to read in those five days, which means continuing this light but fun and steamy series. And I ended up reading this book in less than 24 hours.I should've expected this book would be just as addicting as the first book! I think I enjoyed it a little more (.5 stars) than book one, but it still fell in the category of being a bit typical and nothing really blew me away with this story. If anything, I think it

4 STELLA STARS.You know those books that you pick up, quite popular, you've been looking forward to reading it, even checking what other GoodReads friends have to say. Well this is one of those books and hooray, I fell a little in love. Well to start with It's easy, uncomplicated and full of out and out brilliant chemistry. This book also has the

If you've read Beautiful Bastard then you already know about Sara, but getting to see this new side of her was amazing. She is a strong character, with a lot of mystery surrounding her. You'll probably be like me and think she's a little annoying at first with her dumb rules, but once the secret is reveal you'll be seeing her in a whole new light. Max Stella, whoosh! Are there any words to describe him! His easy going, alpha, I'll chase after what I want attitude really did it for me. The thing

Hello Max. My name is Jessica and you can take me anywhere. And do mean ANYWHERE!Well holy moley. That Sara girl is one lucky chick with Max.This book starts off GREAT. You guys know how much I love a good sex up against the wall scene. And boy does it deliver. There are quite a few smexy scenes in this book. Max was quite creative too. The man took her, and when I mean took her, I mean TOOK HER, in the NEW YORK FRIGGIN PUBLIC LIBRARY! Come on! Books AND sex with an outrageously hot guy. My day
