Incredible and approachable look into the life of one of the Kingdom's brightest; as well as the birth of the power the Kingdom enjoys today amongst many of its sectors.

This book talks about the best ways to manage the ministries in the gulf countries, and how to focus in the progression instead of the self interest.

A book should be read if you on this life

Few things I have enjoyed about this book, besides the good examples and real life situations he has offered in a different perspective, I feel like he has given an excellent image of the Saudi ruling family. I must admit, almost through all my studies dealing with the gulf, i have always been given a negative view of the ruling family of Saudi. One of my well-known professors made us watched a documentary in this regard and she was featured in it - I don't say it has changed my opinion

Avery good book, Author gives actual stories of his life from the management point of views.

This is my book from Saudi Arabia for the Read The World challenge. I was looking for Saudi novels, and found Algosaibi because, as well as being a government minister and then ambassador, he wrote poetry and novels; one of which, An Apartment Called Freedom, was translated into English. What intrigued me enough to buy this memoir is that some of his books were banned in Saudi Arabia, including An Apartment Called Freedom which was published while he was the Saudi ambassador to the UK and
