⭐2 stars⭐ Whoever thought up the phrase 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder' was an idiot.Absence makes a bitch go crazy. I nearly DNF at least 3 times.. And I almost never do that.I skimmed though. A lot. I just can't enjoy a book if I don't like the characters and I really really didn't like Elli. Plus it was such a long book and got really boring at times.Normally I wouldn't read the other books but I heard really good things about the series so I think I'll give the next couple books aElli is a 27 year old photographer and a huge hockey fan. Loved this book, love the characters the sport want to read it all over again could not put this down!! Sweet romance and great plot if you like books with heart and soul read this!

Am a big fan of sports related romance so I liked the story, loved Shea, the Hero, the heroine, Elli...nah, not so much. Shea the sexy, sensitive, tattooed hockey player for the Assassins wears geek glasses is muscled, funny, sweet, jealous, possessive and totally in love with and devoted to Elli.
