Relation As Books Moment(s)

They’re dying to be fans. Scottish rocker Julian McLane lives life as normally as possible. But fame can be lonely, which might be why he’d spent a year looking for the girl he caught making a wish behind the concert arena. His fans aren’t happy to share him now that he has found Emilie—too bad their violent displeasure only pushes the couple together. Emilie needs protection from rabid fans, so Julian convinces her to tour with him and his prank-loving bandmates so his security team can watch over her too. Julian thinks their coupledom is as right as a love song. But something’s very wrong about murder victims wearing the band’s concert bracelets. Someone seems intent on downsizing the fandom. Julian holds a twisted mess of clues about the killer’s identity, with every day bringing a different theory, and he’s beginning to think finding the killer means losing Emilie forever.

As a friend of the author, and someone who has been following this novel from basically the first word I can easily say this is one of the best romances I have ever read. What makes Julian's and Emilie's relationship different than most other romance I read is the fact that theirs is centered around a side story involving murder. Anyone who doesn't read this is seriously missing out. I have seen this novel go through many drafts and all the hard work that the author has put into this. I won't

The characters were really interesting and the romance was good but the central mystery was convoluted. At some times it came off as an earlier draft, for instance character's names changed spelling at one point.Started off really strong but lost pacing from the Middle onwards.

I'm pretty sure the English snob in me fell for Emilie at the mere mention of her writing poetry in "iambic pentameter" but the girly side of me was in love with Julian, the rocker with a heart of gold, by the end of page three. Lovely characters, cool premise, and I adore the untraditional take on the love-at-first-sight scenario.

Reasons to read Moment(s):- Scottish adorable boy. Who's a rockstar. Julian is so cute--his trains of thoughts amusing, sweet, a little sneaky, fun fun fun. Even when he's being a teenage boy, he's endearing just because it's so obvious he means well.- Scottish adorable boy *in love*. He's so in love it's lovely. His relationship with Emilie--a girl who's experienced heartbreak--is the stuff fairytales are made off with a sprinkle of spices, because of course there's tension between them, and
