Ilustration Supposing Books A Man

"What's the point anyway — Of suffering, dying? It teaches us to live, boy. A man who does not struggle does not live, he survives." (quote from the book) The book is a pseudo-biography about Alexandros Panagoulis written in the form of a novel. Fallaci had an intense romantic relationship with Panagoulis. She uses the novel to put forth her view that Panagoulis was assassinated by a vast conspiracy, a view widely shared by many Greeks.

Discuss About Books A Man
A MANORIANA FALLACINFSupposedly a novel, but I believe 100% factual. A good book, about the man who attempted to assassinate the president of Greece, the torture, prison politics, and eventual murder. The story has been made more difficult to read than necessary by the omission of paragraphs. It is good -- but lacks somewhat in ART -- not as concise or integrated as a true novel should be. Moving, interesting. Very good. 90/100

One of the best account read so far on the partial life facts of a man such as Alekos Panagulis. More than an account, she wrote an history of a man and along with it she wrote history that is in no book. I had a very high curiosity about all the story while reading the book and I was researching and reading. This is superb.

WOW what a book! Hardly EVER read a book twice but I did it this time. My wife recommended it and I was hooked! I read it for the second time many years later for a book club. Lots to discuss. This life story grab you and hold you until the end!

One of the most impressive mixtures of truth and fiction I ever read.

This is a fabulous book, by Italian journalist Oriana Fallaci. I read it years ago and it has stayed with me. Really worth reading if you can find a copy.

When I was in a bad relationship this love story seemed messed up but also really romantic. On my second reading it wasn't romantic anymore. These are two people working out some serious trauma and it is not pretty. Still a really interesting and well written story by someone who has lived an amazing life.

A book about a life of a revolutionary man told by his extraordinary lover. A romantic picture of a man alone against the world with his visions and dreams that seemingly only his death could fulfil. His extraordinary lover was Orianna Fallaci, who, I think, is such a good writer, their becoming lovers seems to be conveniently conspiratorial. The hero should die young, and the lover would write his story. The story is told in the second person voice, You, which cleverly enables readers to
