Interpretation In Favor Of Books Inferno (Chronicles of Nick #4)

The heat is on, and a new threat to humanity has risen… Nick has his driver’s license and he’s not afraid to use it. But turning sixteen isn’t what he thought it would be. While other boys his age are worried about prom dates and applying for college, Nick is neck deep in enemies out to stop him from living another day. No longer sure if he can trust anyone, his only ally seems to be the one person he’s been told will ultimately kill him. But life spent serving the undead is anything except ordinary. And those out to get him have summoned an ancient force so powerful even the gods fear it. As Nick learns to command and control the elements, the one he must master in order to combat his latest foe is the one most likely to destroy him. As the old proverb goes, fire knows nothing of mercy, and if Nick is to survive this latest round, he will have to sacrifice a part of himself. However, the best sacrifice is seldom the sanest move. Sometimes it’s the one that leaves your enemies confused, and you even more so. And sometimes, you have to trust your enemy to save your friends. But what do you do when that enemy is you? http://us.macmillan.com/inferno-3/She...

Commentary Of Books Inferno (Chronicles of Nick #4)
This book was a lot more intense and more deep than the prior books and unlike the prior books, there wasn't a bunch of zombies or other creatures taking over. Now sixteen and coming into more and more of his powers, our little Nick is growing up! There are just too many things going on in this story so I'm just going to touch on some highlights:♦ Nick found out some 'truths' about Kody in the last book and that causes a bunch of problems.♦ There are many more 'beings' after him and many that he

More of the same occurs in this installment of the series. Nick is still being influenced by outside supernaturals to make decisions in the hopes that he will turn into his evil self. There are a couple of new players, but the story is essentially the same......which leads me to the reduced rating. While I understand that the premise of this series is that Nick is destined to be extremely powerful and his decisions will lead him to either use that power for good or for evil, and thus there are

[This is a (not-so-well-thought-off) Rant. Beware.]My first reaction when I got this was to squeal and flail like the fangirl I am.Moving on, prior to the momentous second I got 'Inferno', I re-read the series, and it made me realize some things.Cherise Gautier is SO ANNOYING. Yes, the female species tend to be emotional(I happen to be one, myself), but Cherise's emotions are just... irrational and exaggerated. Yes, I get it. She loves her kid very much, and it's hard for her being a single

[4.5 Stars]

This is my first review so bear with me a bit ok?This book proves that Ambrose really messed things up with his time jumping and universe crossing. There are two redemptions in this book, Adarian and Artemis are both redeemed as far as the storyline's arc is concerned. I liked that and the way it was done. I don't think I'm giving anything away here since Ms. Kenyon has said in the past that both characters were not as bad as they seemed. With that being said this story felt like I started

Book 4: Human ego & JealousyGrim decides to come out and play. Beginning of chapter one, Grim reveals Kody's true mission. Nick breaks up with her, right when they both falls in love, and the day after he gifts her a heart locket; Caleb goes full protection mode. I was picturing the trio like Harry Potter where the three will rely on each other and be present in all scenes; I did not anticipate after becoming a team for one book, the trio separates. I'm a little mad at Caleb. After the
