This is the true story of a meandering trip around the coast of Great Britain I made on the mighty Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic. A testing expedition of enlightenment and fulfilment that I started on 17th June and finished on 29th June 2007. That memorable ride acts as a catalyst for a further journey back through time starting in the mid fifties to present day. I battled the worse wet weather conditions on record for those twelve days in June as I recalled memories of a lifetime long gone, some good, some not so good as I travelled alone over thousands of miles on often empty roads. I published this book because I thought the author deserved recognition. I, the publisher, am Bronwyn Editions. The author is Dave Clarke. I thought it was a great story; in fact, 2 great stories in one. That is because, on his way around the coast of GB in almost the wettest June on record, Dave reminisced and eventually wrote about his life so far with his love of motorcycles and how this warred with his family.

I love riding motorcycles. I can still feel the adrenaline rush and the camaraderie. There is no feeling quite like being at one with the motorcycle or feeling as though you are flying free. However, I didn't own a Harley Davidson nor did I own a Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic (an exceptional bike). I owned and rode a dirt bike - Bultaco - a classic Spanish motorcycle. I had fun riding it up and down hills and valleys where I lived in the countryside of Texas.I enjoyed reading David Clark's book
It was okay. I'd recommend it for an adult, not a teenager.
This book's title is a come on. You will have to read the book to find out why.Mr. Clarke, the author, writes alternately about his current life and in particular a two week motorcycle ride around England. Then he interweaves information about his early life. The detailed information about motorcycles was not interesting to me but perhaps a motorcyclist would find it helpful. A map of his ride would be useful for we American readers. The early life information was the most interesting part for
