It's vivid and richly detailed history is something I've never read before, and I found myself so taken away with the story, that when I finished it I wanted more. This is far from your typical angel book. There is so many elements, surprises and bits of realism that I really surprised myself and finished this 500+ page book within a few hours. Aside from some wonderful characters, theThis was a free book for my kindle. It really bugged me how wrong words and misspellings were so prevalent in this book. But beyond that, the author had a decent story, but had so much trouble trying to convey the emotions of her characters it resulted in her droning on and on. Whereas a truly amazing author can make the reader feel things without telling them outright, this author could not do that. When there is "tragedy" in the book, after referring to the person she has known for 5 minutes

I have to start off by saying that Im kind of on the fence with this book. Its definitely one of those books where you like a lot of things about it, but you just cant ignore the disappointing aspects of the novel. First of all, I absolutely love the cover for this book! It is insanely beautiful and just amazing. This is what first drew me in to look at this series and I can certainly say that I was not disappointed. I wasn't really sure about the story when I first started it, but the more I read the more I wanted to keep reading.
