SventĂ© vampire Ava Sanchez has a difficult decision to make: should she accept the invitation of the Grand High Master Vampires and join their legion? It will mean leaving behind her brother and her home. It will also mean working with Pagori vampire, Salem McCauley. Unlike the majority of vampirekind, she doesn’t fear Mr. Tall, Blond, and Dauntless…even if he does have some psychopathic traits. In fact, he has a raw sexuality that tempts her to drop her ‘no relationships’ rule and give him exactly what he wants from her – everything.

Salem McCauley doesn’t like anything cute, or sweet, or cheery. Yet he wants Ava with a desperation that’s bordering on obsession. And shockingly, she doesn’t look at him like others do – you know, like they fear he’ll rip out their spinal cord for fun. Now that the legion will be busy hunting the players involved in the creation of an illegal vampiric brothel, there’s no time for pursuing Ava. But Salem makes time, because he never denies himself what he wants and he always holds tight to what’s his. And that’s exactly what Ava is, whether she knows it or not: His.

Warning: Contains bad words, dirty talk, and scenes of a steamy nature.

Comment On Containing Books Consumed (Deep In Your Veins #4)
A good addition to the series. Ava is perky and outgoing whilst Salem is the more reserved of the two to put it mildly. Salem and Ava as a couple certainly work, the chemistry is good and the interactions between the two had me smiling. Loved seeing the short glimpse of Knox in this book, and hope there may be a book in the future with some more overlap.Whilst this book isn't as fab as the first 3 in the series, Wright's writing style and the interactions between Ava and Salem make this a

Theres no going back." Consumed is the fourth book in the Deep in Your Veins Series. My favorite Vampires are back and hotter than ever! Ava Sanchez has been invited to join the ranks of the Grand High Master Vampires. Joining the ranks will mean fighting the good fight alongside her crush Salem McCauley. As Ava and Salem grow closer together their attraction expands to an unbelievable level. With testosterone, passion, and vampire powers galore, the stakes are high for Ava and Salem to find

I really enjoyed this one! Maybe not quite as much as Sam & Jared's story.... but it would be hard to top that wouldn't it?!! However, Salem and Ava certainly held their own :) Now the question remains - what to read next? Decisions, decisions :)

I was really on the fence about this one. It was enjoyable, but there were also some pretty annoying issues with it.I loved Ava, and Salem was okay (much like my opinion with Sam and Jared). Ava was quirky, funny, and endearing. As for Salem, I wish there was more substance to his personality. I also had hoped for a more fleshed out relationship between the two, I think it progressed too fast and that they didn't go through enough trials and tribulations as a couple to really establish a very

Seriously! What rock have I been living under ?!? How the hell did I know this was out *hangs head in shame*

4.5 Darkly Possessive Stars *Spoilers* He has lucid moments, though they're few and far between. And he's a warm, cuddly bear at heart." Oh Yeah that's how it is done! Consumed is the 4th book in the Deep in your veins series. It is the first one of the series that is not about Jared and Sam, and Suzanne Wright Rocked that shit!!!! OMG it was good. So Consumed is about Ava Sanchez who is considering Jared and Sam's invitation to join the all women Legion they are starting up. If she takes it

A huge letdown after the first three books.I guess I just never really liked either of the main characters. There's Ava - an annoyingly bubbly girl who is "quirky". She likes to hum, adores the color pink, and talks excessively. In other words, she's got the personality of a 13 year old girl on a sugar high. She calls Salem her "cuddly Bear" and I could just hear it in my head like nails on a chalkboard of her saying it in baby-talk. Kill me. I'm all about girl-power and not cutting down other
