Commentary To Books Grey and Darker (Fifty Shades as Told by Christian #1-2)

In Christian’s own words, and through his thoughts, reflections, and dreams, E L James offers a fresh perspective on the love story that has enthralled millions of readers around the world.

Grey
CHRISTIAN GREY exercises control in all things; his world is neat, disciplined, and utterly empty – until the day that Anastasia Steele falls into his office, in a tangle of shapely limbs and tumbling brown hair. He tries to forget her, but instead is swept up in a storm of emotion he cannot comprehend and cannot resist. Unlike any woman he has known before, shy, unworldly Ana seems to see right through him – past the business prodigy and the penthouse lifestyle to Christian’s cold, wounded heart.

Will being with Ana dispel the horrors of his childhood that haunt Christian every night? Or will his dark sexual desires, his compulsion to control, and the self-loathing that fills his soul drive this girl away and destroy the fragile hope she offers him?

Darker
Their scorching, sensual affair ended in heartbreak and recrimination, but Christian Grey cannot get Anastasia Steele out of his mind, or his blood. Determined to win her back, he tries to suppress his darkest desires and his need for complete control, and to love Ana on her own terms.

But the horrors of his childhood still haunt him, and Ana’s scheming boss, Jack Hyde, clearly wants her for himself. Can Christian’s confidant and therapist, Dr. Flynn, help him face down his demons? Or will the possessiveness of Elena, his seducer, and the deranged devotion of Leila, his former submissive, drag Christian down into the past?

And if Christian does win Ana back, can a man so dark and damaged ever hope to keep her?

This series was the reason I found my love of reading. And I realised how much I loved a good romance! So to read it again but in christians POV was amaze balls! I love it! I did notice that a couple of my favourite scenes seemed to be glazed over in this book, they didnt seem to have the same heart throb punching feel that the original one has and I guess thats because its in christians perspective and not anas. Men and women are very different so why wouldnt

I can only say that it was a bit repetitive to me.

Unputdownable...I've read all 5 books in a week and really don't know what I'll do now....đŸ˜„ Enthralling, intense, captivating, funny and heart-warming. I found myself thinking of the characters when I wasn't reading. Just need Freed in Christian's words now....pretty pleaseđŸ¤—

My dear dear Mr.Grey...A person never knows how to love and do not understand what is love.Until Miss Anastasia Steel fell into his office for the sake of the school magazine interview. The day Mr. Grey first laid eyes on a girl who is so pure like Miss Steel. Ana somehow taught Christian how to love and what is love, but poor Christian is always denying the love from Ana. The story is written beautifully. How painful is Christian's heart? And what is it that made the boundaries on his body. But
